What’s Happening Around The Web This Week

What’s Happening Around The Web This Week

There are a few things going on or coming up that I wanted to share with you, along with links to a few pieces I’ve bookmarked to read this week. Scan through the quick list here, and of course leave a comment below if you have other interesting things to share with us!

First, a heads-up about Gideon Shalwick’s upcoming webinar. It’s scheduled for Tuesday, Sept 14 at 8pm EDT, and the topic is how to outsource the majority of your video work.

He’ll also share ways to speed up & dramatically improve your video production process, which I’m especially interested in.

There’s only a video on the sign-up page, but watch for my next post where I’ll reveal more detail about that. ;)

The following day, on Wednesday September 15th at 1:30pm Eastern, Lexi Rodrigo is hosting a Free Webinar where she’ll share 3 list-building secrets she used to grow her list by 500% in only 6 months.

You can register for her Free Webinar at:

I’m not sure how long this one will last, but at the moment Alice Seba is giving away this swipe file free:

Creating Better Content, Faster
- and With More Conversions

Her email said it will only be available to download free for a limited time, so go ahead and get your copy if you haven’t already. It’s a 10 page swipe file. I actually printed it out to keep on my desk – and have referred to it and used the ideas 3 different times already!

If you’re in a hurry, you can just click here to open the PDF in a new window for quicker access: http://www.clicknewz.com/free/content-marketing-swipe-file.pdf

it’s chock full of fill-in-the-blank templates for awesome headlines, power phrases, transitions, call-to-action, great closings and even the all-powerful P.S. -Enjoy! :D

The Gmail Priority Inbox has been a hot topic, and here’s an article that appeals specifically to those of us working online:

What the Gmail Priority Inbox Means for Marketers

This is a great read that gives you a lot to consider. Credit goes to @MariSmith for sharing this link on Facebook, which is where I found it. Thanks, Mari!

Also, my friend Trish Lindemood is hosting her annual 90-day Content Marketing Challenge.

This post is of particular interest for you if you’re looking for an outline and action plan:

Developing a Content Marketing Strategy and a Concrete Action Plan

That’s it from me today. I’d love to hear what you’ve found around the web that’s worth sharing!

Best,

Hope you like, BTW Testing out a supper cool Google Apps Feature!
